Kris

My name is Kris Frank, I am years old, and am currently living in Indianapolis, Indiana. I have been doing web design for close to 10 years now, self taught originally, then learning a great deal more after taking classes at The Art Institute of Indianapolis, where I am currently obtaining my B. S. in Web Design & Interactive Media, with an expected graduation date in the Summer of 2010. After finishing at AiIndy I am giving thought to pursuing a Master's Degree. When I'm not in class, I'm working full time for a local web design company.

My area of expertise is in CSS/XHTML with some PHP/MySQL support, though I am also proficient with ColdFusion as well.

I was born in California, grew up in Ohio after moving there when I was 6 years old. Striking out on my own, I moved to Indianapolis in 2005. I am an avid college football fan, though I do enjoy the NFL as well. You can find me on the couch in front of the TV every Saturday during the season, watching the games. If I have to miss a game, it's only because there was no possible way around it. I also love watching movies. From a very young age I can remember sitting with my dad watching them, learning about them, dissecting them, and just enjoying everything about them... The good movies, anyway. I really enjoy a good comedy, especially a dark comedy, mysteries, or a good thriller.

When the opportunity presents itself, I like to go out with my friends and have a fun night on the town. I always love some good music at a good club, or going to a great concert is always fun. In my spare time I like to draw in my sketchbook, as traditional illustration is actually my original art background, watch a good TV show, go out to the movies, or just read. Above anything else, though, I love to play pool. If we're out at a bar, and there's at least one pool table, you know where to find me.

In general I tend to be a soft spoken person, but when something requires it, I make myself heard. Whenever I get a project, I give myself over to it wholly until the project is complete. I believe in getting things done right the first time, because I hate wasting time.
